During the past 10 weeks, I had the opportunity to work at the Naval Research Lab as a Research Intern. While there, I got to work with HUBO to develop a cloud-based framework for walking. I also got to experiment with casual social interactions between humanoid robots and humans. I am now working on a journal paper about my research with cloud-based walking, and it will be submitted to the Journal of Autonomous Robots in September. This experience was very enriching for me, and I learned a lot about what it is like to work in a nationalr esearch lab. Also, I got to travel to a lot of new places on the Easty Coast, so that was a nice added bonus.
